Welcome to Outnet India. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website to track and report internet service disruptions. By accessing or using our website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Our Service

Outnet is a crowdsourced platform that monitors real-time internet service provider outages across India. We provide:

• Interactive live outage maps powered by Mapbox
• Real-time outage reporting for major ISPs (Airtel, Jio, Vi, BSNL, etc.)
• Hourly and daily outage trend visualizations
• Location-based outage alerts and tracking

Important: We are an independent intermediary platform. We are not directly affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any Internet Service Provider (e.g., Airtel, Reliance Jio, BSNL, Vodafone Idea, etc.). We do not manage your ISP accounts, process subscription payments, or provide technical support for your specific internet connection.

3. Eligibility

To use our website, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Have the legal capacity to enter into agreements
• Not be prohibited from using our services under applicable Indian laws

4. Acceptable Use

You May:

• Browse outage maps for personal, non-commercial use
• Submit honest and accurate reports of internet service disruptions in your city
• Share outage data and trends with others for informational purposes

You May NOT:

• Submit false or misleading outage reports
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute map data for commercial purposes without authorization
• Use automated systems (bots, scripts) to submit reports or harvest data
• Attempt to bypass our security measures or overload our infrastructure
• Impersonate other users or ISPs

5. Crowdsourced Data

Accuracy

Our maps and charts are built using crowdsourced data from users across India. While we implement verification algorithms, we cannot guarantee the 100% accuracy of every report. Outage status is indicative of user-reported issues and should be used as a general guide.

No Warranty

The outage data is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not responsible for:

• The actual status of your personal internet connection
• Discrepancies between our map data and official ISP status pages
• Changes in ISP network performance or infrastructure

6. Intellectual Property

All website content, including logic, branding, and design, is owned by Outnet India or our licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

Third-party trademarks and logos (such as those of Airtel, Jio, etc.) are used solely for descriptive and identification purposes and remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Third-Party Links & Maps

Our website utilizes Mapbox APIs for geographical visualization. By using our maps, you are also subject to Mapbox's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party mapping data or external links provided for informational purposes.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR WEBSITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR AVAILABILITY OF OUTAGE DATA.

9. Limitation of Liability

OUTNET INDIA IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES, INCLUDING DATA LOSS OR BUSINESS DISRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON OUR CROWDSOURCED OUTAGE REPORTS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO ₹1,000.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Outnet India against any claims or damages arising from your misuse of the platform or submission of false reporting data.

11. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by Indian law.

Jurisdiction: Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
